Pics!!!

Radley just loves Tavin... I think he was telling T a story here.

I had a lot of fun shopping for Samantha's bday gift. Girly dress up stuff is SO fun!

Here is one of Rad and I eating on the floor. Seats filled up quick during dinner at my mom's house last week!

Samantha received a couple of pair of high heels for her birthday and Rad LOVED them. Good thing Derrick isn't home! Ha!

Here is a fun pic of Rad eating Samantha's birthday cake with Samantha. How cute are they?!

Thanks Aunt V for getting me these pics. I don't have any of Shayli this time because she wasn't home but hopefully I'll have some fun ones from Triple Play this weekend. Maybe I'll even have some of the mama and baby moose that have been tearing up the tree's in our driveway. ♥- Have a great weekend!

What a week!

Wow! What a week last week was.

Last Sunday, February 17th, my Aunt Robert Bostock passed away after a short battle with a rare and aggressive form of colon cancer. She had had the cancer for a little over a month, but it was such a shock to have her go so fast. I LOVED my Aunt Roberta. She was one of the most positive, happy, energetic, optimistic, faithful and beautiful people that I have ever had the privilege to know. I knew that when she died it would be hard, but it ended up being more difficult than I thought it would be. I didn't give myself time to cry at first and it caused quite the emotional headache on Monday. I took Wednesday through today (Monday) off, to prepare for and to be with family. Rad and I had Jared, Amy and Tavin stay with us at our house. It was nice to have them there. Heidi, Ben, Samantha and Andrew and Michael came too, as well as all of my moms siblings and their spouses and their children. Talk about a lot of people. It was really neat to see everyone, even under the sad circumstances. It was Samantha's 2nd birthday on Friday and we celebrated all day. She opened one present almost every hour of the day. It was really neat to see all of the "baby" cousins together. At one point there were 10 babies ages 2 and under at my moms house... Roxy, Samantha, Radley, Kai, Bailey, Hunter, Tavin, Andrew, Conner, and Tien... actually, Kai might not have been there that day? Radley loved all of the babies but I was only allowed to hold Tavin. He was quite the jealous boy over the weekend.

On Saturday we had the funeral, it was a great tribute to Aunt Roberta. They estimated about 800 people there. She was and is so loved. I was truly inspired by her and her life this week and have reprioritized quite a bit.

We are now in the 4th week of Derrick being gone. Thankfully it's going faster than we thought. I am looking forward to being able to say... Derrick's plane lands in 10 minutes!

Pregnancy is still going well. I had an appointment with the midwife last Tuesday, Rad threw a fit every time she came near me so I didn't have much of a checkup and she couldn't find a heart beat. That was disappointing but I am only 11 weeks along. Next time I have an appointment, Rad will stay home with Grameri. ☺

It's starting to warm up a bit. It was sunny lots of last week, but today it is back to gloom. I'm ready for the sunshine... wait til August though. I'll be 8 months pregnant wishing that it weren't so dang hot!

Sorry... no pictures with this post. Derrick has the camera still. I'll try to snag some from V Child though and post them later this week.

No wonder Derrick and I get along so well! I'm his age at ♥!

You Act Like You Are 32 Years Old

You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

You're responsible, wise, and have enough experience to understand a lot of the world.

You're at the point in your life where you understand yourself pretty well.

You are figuring out what you want... and how to get it!

Hair Cut and Nursery

I really hate pictures of me, it's just this "thing" I have. But here is one of me driving to church yesterday, you can kind of see the hair cut. I like it, it looks a ton more healthy.

So Raddle Daddle went to nursery for the first time yesterday and LOVED it! At first he was a big clingy but as soon as they busted out the play dough he wanted to sit in his own seat at the table and he was a natural from there. Grameri and I kept peeking in the window to watch him and we kept laughing. He looked like such a big kid in there and he was SO goofy! Grameri said, "They have to keep herding him back to the other kids". He wanted to check out everything. When I went to pick him up after church he saw me and yelled, "Ma!" Then turned right back around to play with more bubbles. He didn't want to leave. I was the first parent to arrive to pick up a kid and one of the last to leave. What a relief. I'm glad he likes it so much. Oh! And he colored his first little picture of Jesus being the "greatest friend" and it brought tears to my eyes. So sweet.

Holy Snow!

Man oh man do we have a ton of snow! Seriously. There are windows in my house where I look outside and only see snow. When you drive into my driveway, you can't see my house. I've been trying to take pictures but Derrick has the camera in Alaska so I only have the cell phone to take pictures with and the pictures just come out white... hmmm, imagine that.

So far so good with Derrick gone. Toward the end of last week I was really sick with the pregnancy. It was bad enough that I was starting to feel dehydrated and actually asked Derrick not to go back to Alaska. Obviously, he still went, and obviously I'm a wimp. :) On Saturday I prayed, had faith and then had Bob and Yuri give me a blessing. I love the priesthood. I haven't been sick since, and after my pregnancy with Rad, that truly is a miracle.

Shayli got her report card this week and kicked hiney! She is such a smart girl and we are so very proud of her.

Rad is still funny, lively, rambunctious Rad. Aunt V watched him last night while I went to mutual and she learned how terrified of cats he is. Really, of all of the things that Rad ISN'T afraid of, he's afraid of cats. :)

V and Amy inspired me with their super cute hair cuts. So tomorrow I will be seeing the same gal who cut and styled their hair and letting her do whatever she wants with it. Dangerous, but exciting. I'll post pics.

I couldn't take a non blurry picture of Rad fixing his 4wheeler. He knows right where the house tools are kept, so after riding around the house for a bit he will flip over the 4wheeler, go to the cupboard, find the right tools and then "fix" his 4wheeler, takes the tools back, puts them away, and then hops back on and goes for another ride. It's really cute to watch.

I love how much these 2 love eachother.

Rad is still loving his truck and dirt bike videos. This is a picture of him sitting in his "chair" watching what must have been a wreck as he is looking pretty intense.

My mom has been so great while Derrick has been gone. She feeds us all of the time and keeps hooking us up with these great ice-cream cones that Radley LOVES!
