Easter Eve

Easter has not even hit yet and we have had some serious Easter fun! The hospital put on a great Easter Egg hunt for the children of the employees and last night we did some serious egg dying. We had so many different colors!

As much as I like the eggs and the candy and the baskets of goods I LOVE my Savior. I am so thankful for all that "Easter" really is. He lives! Our Savior paid the ultimate price and LIVES! I know this, my children know this, and I pray that my husband will also know this. ♥

Baby Goats!

Our Sunny had babies! Twins! One little girl that we are taking to a friend of ours tomorrow and one little boy that my Mom helped me name. He will hereby be known as Nigel and oh my what a doll! He is mostly white with a bit of black on his face and he is solid black from hoof to a little above the knee. I love having baby animals on the farm. We recently acquired 9 more baby chicks. Tweet Tweet!

Starts!

I have started my garden indoors already. It may be early but I was itching to do it. I will plant more here in a few weeks but for now I have started canteloupe, watermelon, beets, spinach, carnival peppers, pepperocini's and some really pretty sunflowers. They are all doing great! I am excited to have a garden this year. I am crossing my fingers that I will end up with at least some produce.

Brotherly ♥

I love that my little guys play so well together. They take every chance that they can to play together. Even though we have enough bedrooms for them to each have their own, they prefer to share a room. We made the other room a toy room. Evidently a toy room and a bedroom are not good enough. These little men took the cushions off of my couch and made themselves a bed on the floor. I remember doing that.

Derrick ♥'s Melenie

Last weekend was awfully busy. I worked at the hospital all weekend and Derrick was running around everywhere. So I was pleasantly surprised when my sweet little husband showed up with some flowers. What a perfect man for me did I marry!

First ♥ Letter

Rad came home from school the other day and handed me a folded up peice of construction paper and said, "It means she loves me". Evidently some little girls passed him the "note" during a movie at school. Oh too young. Rad was so cute about it. He really didn't want to keep it because "it's embarassing"! But he was unsure about throwing it away. I told him that I would take care of it... it's being scrap booked of course.

Ouches

Shayli and I did some serious work on the barn yesterday. We have had some flooding here and had to get rid of our pigs because of the mess the water is causing. We are going to do a barn remodel and then start fresh this fall.

While cleaning the barn I ripped open my hand on the pig fence. Not a wound you want working in a barn... or a hospital. Of course it's infected.

It was such a sunny day that I decided to hose off a bunch of the barn equipment. Unfortunately the hose had a hole in it so as I sprayed down the equipment, I also sprayed down my jeans. Because of the sun I did not notice how cold my legs were until I hopped in the shower. Then my legs burned, then itched, turned bright red and it took me so long to warm them up again. I am not posting a picture of my legs... you can thank me for that. :)

Rad decided to slide down his "dirt hill" face first yesterday. I recommended that he stick to going down on his bicycle, dirt bike, scooter or skateboard. He has plenty to ride, he really does not need to ride his face.
