Wow! It has been a long time since I last posted and a lot has happened! Way to much to back track.
Here is a quick update though...
We are now living in our new home in Paradise Valley and it really is Paradise. We love it. We don't get the same animals as we did while living in the Baldy house but we do get a lot all the same. We see elk often and a whole ton of deer. We now own 6 goats... Collette, Sunny, Petunia, Cracker, Rocky, and Dean Grinder. We have 12 chickens and 4 rabbits. We also have a pond that houses quite a few pair of Canadian geese.
Cade is growing like crazy. He is so much fun. He is starting to say more and more. He wants to do whatever Rad does and usually does.
Rad is a kick in the pants. He says the funniest things and LOVES to tell stories.
Shayli is doing very well. She is kicking hiney in seventh grade this year. Her grades are awesome and we are so proud of her hard work and great attitude.
Melenie is working at a bank in Sandpoint. She does not like being away from the kidd-o's but since having a job is necessary for the time being, she is thankful to have the job at the bank.
Derrick is home! He has been home since February and the family loves having him home. He is currently unemployed and a stay at home dad. He has started construction on his shop and while he is working the boys go and play with some great friends of ours.
That is a quick update. I will be posting more now that we have internet again. I will post pics soon!
A place to keep up with the happenings of Melenie♥Derrick, Shayli, Rad and Cade.

Rad

Long story short....
The day that Derrick had to go back to Alaska I spent the morning in the ER with Rad. Poor guy. It was awful to see him with an iv in his hand. He had spent the night before throwing up. He had only had Tylenol. After we had exhausted all other options, I called Poison Control to see if maybe something was up with the dosage. Poison Control sent me to the ER. Come to find out (after blood draws to test his liver) he had under normal amounts of Tylenol. He did have a nasty nasty ear infection though. So he is on $140 dollars worth of antibiotics that gives him the runs. Its explosive actually. Last night after a trip to the bathroom he said, "Mom! The water wants to keep jumping up to hit my bottom!" Yup, explosive.
The other day Cade woke up and could not put pressure on his left leg. He couldn't walk and didn't even like to crawl. So I took him to the doc. They thought it was fractured. They sent us to the hospital for xrays. No fracture. They couldn't tell us for sure what the problem was. He is fine now though.
Shayli was cleaning her room a few days ago and bent down to pick up a bag and when she stood up she smacked the top of her head against the metal thingy in the door jam. It bled, bumped and gave her a 3 day headache.
I fell down my moms stairs yesterday. Um, ow. Stiff and sore today.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Still loving life.
Still thankful for our health.
Still feel so blessed.
Still so happy!
