I was at a friends bday party weeks ago and saw this chore list hanging in her kitchen. I had been trying to figure out a way to organize my house hold chores so I grabbed a paper plat and jotted her chore list down. I do it a little different... I can't do my floors just once a week, but for the most part I follow it to a T and Derrick has noticed a huge difference in my stress level and how the house looks. I feel so much better too. Here't the list:
Everyday- 1 load of laundry- wash and put away.
1 load of dishes- wash and put away.
Monday- Oneday- Clean and organize 1 drawer, cupboard or closet.
Menday- med or fix 1 thing.
Mirrorday- clean mirrors and 1 window.
Minuteday- Spend 10 minutes in each room.
Tuesday- Tinksday- Clean your tubs, toilets and sinks.
Wednesday- Wacuum- Vacuum, wipe and dust.
Wash fridge, clean out leftovers
Write weekly menu and grocery list.
Thursday- Thirstday- Water plants and flowers
Terrain day- Mow lawn, clean porch or wash car.
Think of someone else day, call or write a note.
Treat yourself day- Candle bath, early bedtime, etc.
Friday- Freshen day- change sheets
Furday- brush pets, clean cages
Floorday- do your floors
Saturday- Fun day!
Sunday- Rest day!
Try it! It's worked great for me!

Melanie, that's very grown up of you! Sol!
You should check out my sister's website. She does chore cards and boards. It's soapstarmom.com and if you enter the promotional code "Renee" you get 25% off.
I love the laundry idea. It's much better than my method of it all piling up and spending one whole day doing laundry!
