I turned 31 yesterday. I had a fantastic lunch out with a friend and coworker at the Cold Water Creek wine bar. I chowed down on a veggie panini with pepperjack cheese, guacamole, garlic, carmelized onion, etc., etc. So good.
After lunch I headed to my moms where we ate some super hamburgers, sweet potato fries, fried zuchini and deviled eggs. YUM!
Cade helped Grameri pick out a super cake. It was rainbow frosted and topped with pink candles and a red dirt bike. :)
Derrick had a gorgeous cake made at Yokes. The Yokes here in Sandpoint has the BEST pastries and cakes around I think. I actually had a peice of cake for breakfast this morning. Can't have it going bad!
My Mom picked me up the prettiest cuff and earing set from Cold Water Creek. Cade helped pick that out too. He gets his mind set on something and doesn't budge.
Derrick, the best husband to me ever, hooked me up with a Kindle and fancy cover, oil paints, canvas and new brushes. Just what I wanted. Thank you sweetheart! You made it such a great birthday!
Bob turned 62! I love sharing a birthday him.
I am really really happy that I did NOT spend my birthday in the ER like last year!
Speaking of the ER... I think I failed to mention in my last post that Derrick was int he ER on Saturday with a burned and lesioned cornea. Dang gasoline in the eye anyway.
