Not much going on with Derrick, Shayli and I this week but Rad had quite the week!
We finally got rid of the bottle. He chewed a big hole in the nipple of one of his bottles and Derrick showed him the hole, we told him it was broke, threw it away and that was that! Too easy! He does ask for it from time to time but I just remind him that it broke and then he asks for his "juice". That's what he calls a sippy cup.
He loves to play outside too. It's been tough lately because the weather has been so yucky but we have managed some nature walks to the mail box and he played in the mud with his trucks yesterday.
I took this pic on one of our walks as he pretended to talk on the phone.

Rad also had his first bloody nose yesterday. Scared me to death! We were sitting on the couch watching "trucks" and he said "ma, Ma, MA!" I looked over at him and he had blood gushing from his nose. We got it stopped quick enough but it's still pretty unnerving seeing your baby bleeding so badly. The doc said that they don't worry about nose bleeds unless they are happening daily or if he's bleeding other places too. Derrick gets nose bleeds all of the time, so maybe this is something I should get used to?
Derrick and I found a great bed at a garage sale last weekend. It's a blue race car bed coomplete with plastic wheels and tires. He doesn't want to sleep in it yet but he loves to sit in it and read books. I have the pics on the camera, but the camera is not with me at the moment. I'll post pics of the bed next week.
